2023 (Freshman): Played in one game as a true freshman, making his collegiate debut in the final home game against ETSU (Nov. 11) … Did not record any official statistics in the season … Caught one pass for 50 yards in WCU’s annual Spring Game ... Named to the 2023-24 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Prior to Western Carolina: Joined the Catamount football team as a preferred walk-on … Four-year varsity letter winner … Named second-team 2-A All-State at wide receiver as a senior … Caught 52 passes for 1,069 yards with 15 touchdowns on offense … Recorded seven interceptions in the defensive secondary, amassing 1,497 total all-purpose yards … Caught 140 career passes for 2,616 yards and 31 touchdowns as a prep, adding 86 career rushing yards and three scores on the ground … Amassed 3,397 career yards including 390 yards on kickoff returns, 161 punt return yards, and 144 yards on nine interceptions.
Personal: Is the son of Eric Rasheed, who was a two-sport standout (football, track) for the Catamounts from 1981-84 and was a first-team AP All-America selection in 1983 … His father continues to rank third in program history for career receptions (193), third in career receiving touchdowns (22), and fourth in career receiving yards (2,884 yards) and was inducted into the Western Carolina Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000.
