Prior to Western Carolina: Three-year varsity letter winner … Threw for 6,683 yards over 31 career games with 90 touchdown passes, twice breaking the program passing record … Two-time All-State and two-time All-Region selection … Was twice selected as the Tri-County Offensive Player of the Year and also earned All-Region Player of the Year plaudits … Selected to play in the East-West Senior Bowl, where he earned the QB MVP award.
