Molly Bachand joined the Catamount family in April 2021, coming to Cullowhee from Wake Forest where she served as the Director of Equipment Services for both the men’s and women’s basketball programs and coordinator of the student manager program.
“I’m grateful to have Molly join my staff and the Catamount family,” said WCU head coach Justin Gray. “She’s a very organized, smart and diligent worker. I noticed all these characteristics during our time working together at Wake Forest,” said Gray.
Before arriving to Winston-Salem in 2016, Bachand was the Director of Equipment at UAB in Birminham, Ala., from 2013-16, Assistant Director of Equipment Services at her alma mater Kansas (2010-2012) and at Colorado (2007-08). Bachand was a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA).
Originally from Fairway, Kansas, Bachand is a 2007 graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in sport management and was a student manager for the Kansas men’s basketball team during her undergrad tenure.
