2025-26 (Freshman): Appeared in 30 games throughout his debut campaign in a reserve role... totaled 45 points, averaging 1.5 points per game... scored a season-high 18 points vs Virginia-Lynchburg (Dec. 2), going 8-for-10 from the floor... scored nine points in 23 minutes off the bench at Georgia (Dec. 18)... shot 41% (16-of-39) from the field... buried a pair of threes... pulled down 50 rebounds, averaging 1.7 per game... pulled down a season-high seven rebounds vs VMI (Jan. 24) which included five offensive boards... had six boards against Virginia-Lynchburg and five rebounds vs Mercer (March 7)...made 11-of-14 (78.6%) at the free throw line with four games going a perfect 2-for-2... totaled seven assists... recorded 12 blocks and five steals... played a season-high 23 minutes in road contest Georgia... 

PRIOR TO WCU: Smith comes to Cullowhee after a successful prep career that included stints with the Combine Academy and 1 of 1 Academy. In 2024-25 at Combine Academy with the Blue Checks squad as part of the Overtime Elite Prep League, he averaged 10.0 points per game along with 8.0 boards, while also being a mainstay on the defensive end by ranking amongst the top five in the league in blocked shots. Smith comes to Cullowhee from the Overtime Elite League, which is a program that has produced NBA talents like Alex Sarr of the Washington Wizards and both Ausar (Detroit Pistons) and Amen Thompson (Houston Rockets).
