Biography

Career: Played in 92 games with 81 starts over his three seasons in Cullowhee … Scored 1,415 to finish his career 19th in WCU’s career record books, averaging 15.4 points per game over his three seasons … Is the 49th Catamount men’s basketball player to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau with all of his NCAA Division I points scored in a WCU uniform … His 784 rebounds as a Catamount rank him sixth in school history while his 451 career assists are the 10th-most in program history.
 
2023-24 (Redshirt Senior): Started all 32 games on the season … Posted the ninth-best single-season in program history with 675 points scored, averaging a SoCon-best 21.1 points per game, scoring in double figures in all 32 of WCU’s seasonal games … Became the first Catamount to average over 20 points per game since 2003-04 … Scored 20-or-more points 19 times with 30+ three times – 34 against UNCG (Jan. 24), 35 at Gardner-Webb (Dec. 2), and a career-high 36 at Chattanooga (Jan. 31) … Paced the SoCon with 12.0 rebounds per game with his 384 boards ranking seventh in school single-season history … Finished third in the NCAA with a SoCon-leading 27 double-doubles and was tied for the most triple-doubles, finishing the season with five … Dished out 179 assists – eighth in WCU’s seasonal ledgers – with his 5.6 assist per game average ranking second in the SoCon … Ranked 18th in the NCAA in scoring, third nationally in rebounding, and was 29th in the country in assists per game … … Eclipsed the 1,000 point mark on a jumper at the 13:34 mark of the first half in the win over King University … Received a Southern Conference single-season record nine SoCon Player of the Week honors and also swept all four of the SoCon’s Player of the Month awards … Was a two-time Oscar Robertson Trophy National Player of the Week honoreeNamed the 2023-24 Southern Conference’s Malcolm U. 2021-22 (Junior): Played in 27 games with 18 starts…Led the team with 104 assists and ranked third in the Southern Conference with 3.9 assists per game…Ranked third on the team with 9.7 points per game and second with 5.8 rebounds…Finished in double figures in 14 games including a season-best 20 points against ETSU on Jan. 10…Posted three double-digit rebounding games…Recorded three double-doubles (at Longwood, vs. Tennessee Tech, vs. Chattanooga).

Prior to Western Carolina: Played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Lawson State Community College…Earned NJCAA Honorable Mention All-America honors after averaging a team-best 17.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 7.7 assists in 23 games…Named Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) co-Player of the year…Averaged 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 27 games as a freshman

High School: Prepped at Thomasville High School in Thomasville, Ga., Helped lead the Bulldogs to the GSHA Class AA State Championship game as a junior, scoring with 17 points with seven assists in the title game
