High School: Was a four-year letterwinner at Fuquay Varina High School... Won the Tri-Nine Conference Title in the 400-meter dash in 2010... North Carolina 4A State Champion in the 800-meter run during her senior season... Also won the North Carolina Mideast 4A Regional in the 800-meter run... Ran the 400-meter dash in a personal-best time of 56.2 and the 800-meter run in a personal-best time of 2:12.79.
