Appeared in four meets, competing in the 800, the 4x400m, the 1500m, and the 5000m
Set a PR in the 1500m at the Duke Invitational with a time of 3:57.93
Set PRs in the 800m and the 5000m during the SoCon Outdoor Championships with finishes of 1:55.08 and 15:48.13 respectively
Named a 2023-24 Commissioner's Medal recipient and named to the 2023-24 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll
2023-24 Indoor:
Appeared in four meets, competing in the 800m, the mile, the 3000m, and the DMR
Set a PR in the 3000m during the Clemson Invitation with a 9:06.58 finish
Set a PR in the mile at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational with a 4:26.26 finish
Took first in the DMR at the VMI Winter Relays
Took bronze during the DMR at the SoCon Indoor Championships
2023 Cross Country: Appeared in three events during the fall season… opened the season with a 27:04.1 in the Live in the Lou Classic… posted a personal-best of 26:26.8 in the Upstate Invitational… concluded the fall campaign with a 28:00.4 in the SoCon Championship…
PR's: 800m – 1:56.26, 1600m – 4:27.45, 3200m – 9:42.31, 5k xc – 15:59.30
Coach Notes: "A solid pickup, Chase comes to us from the Sunshine State and adds some solid depth to our developing middle-distance group. Not only will he help in the spring, but his cross-country experience will add depth to our program and push our returners to continue getting better."
