Coach Notes: "One of, if not the best, recruit we've gotten out of the high school ranks, Heidi is someone the staff is incredibly excited about joining the program this next year. Originally recruited as a jumper, she has turned herself into a national-level pentathlon/heptathlon athlete. Currently, she ranks 2
nd and 26
th in the nation in both the high jump & long jump. We feel that she has national-level talent for the multi-events at the NCAA level in the future. Heidi was also the Girls Track & Field Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Mississippi."
