2011 Cross Country Results: Competed in all five events for the Catamounts in 2011 ... Smith was also named to the All-SoCon Second Team ... Broke the school 5000m record at the Royal XC Challenge (17:44.04) before setting it anew her next time out at the SoCon Championships with her time of 17:35.40.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track at Warren County High School in Front Royal, Va... Recipient of her team's MVP honors from 2005-08... Was named Female Athlete of the Year during her junior season and was named her school's Most Outstanding Female Performer during her senior campaign... Qualified for the Virginia State Cross Contry meet from 2005-08... Recorded a personal best of 19:12 in the 5K during her senior season... Ran a 5:15 in the 1600-meter run and 11:41 in the 3200-meter run.
