Set a PR in the discus during the Montreat College Open with a toss of 31.55m
Set a PR in the hammer throw during the Catamount Classic after a toss of 31.31m
2023-24 Indoor:
Appeared in four meets, competing in the shot put and weight throw
Set a PR in the shot put during the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational with a toss of 8.96m
Set a PR in the weight throw with a throw of 13.57m at the SoCon Indoor Championships
PR's: Shot Put – 31-10, Discus – 106-5
Coach Notes: "A late add to the throws group, Merkenzee is a developing thrower who when combined with our current group should see her flourish and become a solid point scorer within the Southern Conference in the coming years."
