High School: Four-year letterwinner at Lincoln High School... Won two time North Carolina State Champion in the 3200-meter run in 2007 and 2008... Claimed the North Carolina State Title in the 800-meter run (2:21) during her senior season...Finished her career as the school's record holder in the 800-meter run (2:21), the 1600-meter run (5:25), the 3200-meter run (11:30) and the 5K cross country event in a time of 18:44... Also played varsity basketball and soccer... Coached by Jeff Cloninger.
