2006-2007: Finished 16th at the Clemson Cross Country Invitational...Ran a time of 27:47 at the SoCon Championships to finish 3rd on the team.

High School: Ran a career-best time in the cross country 5-K as a senior with a 16:35, shaving off nearly two full minutes from his freshman year. Earned all-conference accolades in both his junior and senior years. Track: His career-best in the 800-meter run is 2:04; 4:42 in the 1,600-meter run; and 10:11 in the 3,200-meter run ... In his junior year, his school finished 3rd in conference and 6th in region ... As a senior, finished 2nd in conference , 3rd in region, and 15th in state.
