Appeared in four meets, competing in the 1500m, the 3000m steeplechase, and the 5000m
Set a PR at the Tennessee Invite after a 4:55.44 finish in the 1500m
Set a PR in the 3000m steeplechase after finishing in 11:55.04 during the Catamount Classic
2023-24 Indoor:
Appeared in four meets, competing in the 1000m, the mile, the 3000m, and the 5000m
Set PRs in the 1000m and the mile during the Brant Tolsma Invitational after posting finishes of 3:10.82 and 5:25.21 respectively
Set a PR in the 3000m during the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational after a 10:40.50 finish
Set a PR at the SoCon Indoor Championship in the 5000m with a 19:27.20 finish
2023 Cross Country: Appeared in all four meets during the fall season… finished the season opener with a 16:54 at the Young Harris Invitational 4k which WCU won as a team to begin the season… posted a 21:03.5 in the Live in the Lou Classic… earned a personal-best 19:35.8 in the Upstate Invitational… closed out the fall season at the SoCon Championship with a 20:07.9…
PR's: 800m – 2:26.08, 1600m – 5:28.21, 3200m – 11:47.69, 5k xc – 20:14.90
Coach Notes: "Peyton, who also hails from the Sunshine State, is someone that we are excited to see her development curve here at WCU. She had some injury issues during the fall but got healthy this past spring. Under our future guidance, we feel that she will be a solid contributor to the distance program in the years ahead."
