High School: Spent two seasons at Meadowbrook High School in Richmond, Va., before moving to Northampton-West High School in Gaston, N.C. ... Made it to the Virginia State tournament in the 4x100 and 4x400 relays, while setting a school record in the 4x100 (42.91) during his sophomore year ... Set a personal best in the 100m dash with a 10.66, 21.85 in the 200m and 49.91 in the 400m at Northampton-West ... Placed fourth in the state in the 100m dash during his junior year ... Earned Team MVP and Conference Championship in the 100, 4x100 and 400 during his junior campaign ... Earned MVP honors during his senior season ...
