2026 (Sophomore): Saw action in 38 games with 30 starts including 18 serving as the starting pitcher, 10 as the designated player and two starts in right field for the Purple & Gold... finished second on the team with nine victories along with five complete games in the circle... finished tied for eighth in the league with nine wins... finished second on the team with 93.2 innings in the circle over her 25 outings... tallied 48 strikeouts... recorded a season-high and career-tying five strikeouts against Ohio (March 7)... earned wins in her first seven decisions throughout the 2026 season... recorded complete games against Winthrop (Feb. 17), Lipscomb (Feb. 28), Presbyterian (March 10), Furman (March 21), and N.C. Central (April 21)... had four strikeouts in matchups with Winthrop, Presbyterian, N.C. Central, Georgia State (April 7) and ETSU (April 4)... had five appearances without allowing an earned run... recorded 14 hits with 12 runs scored to go along with four doubles and four homers along with 15 RBIs... totaled a career-high three hits with two doubles and a career-best four RBIs against N.C. 2025 (Freshman): Appeared in 29 games including 19 starts with 10 of those serving as the starting pitcher, three starts at first base and nine as the designated player… earned three wins and four complete games in the circle… worked 59.1 innings over her 17 appearances in the circle… totaled 32 strikeouts… tallied a season-high five strikeouts against Norfolk State (March 8)… tossed three shutout innings against nationally-ranked Georgia (February 16)… pitched five shutout innings against N.C. A&T (February 28)… added five innings without an earned run against Rhode Island (March 1)… earned her first collegiate save against Gardner-Webb (March 18) with 1.2 innings of work and a pair of strikeouts… went season-long 7.0 innings against Tulsa (March 19) and Jacksonville (February 8)… recorded nine hits with four runs scored and four RBI… picked up a double in nonconference play against Jacksonville and Georgia… drew six walks and tallied a sacrifice bunt… logged a .962 fielding percentage…2024-25 SoCon Academic Honor Roll...

HIGH SCHOOL: Batson joins WCU after a four-year prep career as a two-way player at DW Daniel High School. During her junior season, Batson posted a strong .391 average with 10 homers and 38 RBIs while also doing damage in the circle with 155 strikeouts in 127.1 innings of work. She closed out her senior season with a .314 batting average with three homers and 118 strikeouts over 122.2 innings. She finished her prep career with over 500 career strikeouts as she earned Top 20 Player to Watch, All-Region, Golden Arm Award along with multiple defensive awards. Batson earned all-state honors and Seneca Journal Player of the Year recognition as a senior. As a junior, DW Daniel High School won district title on home field as Batson appeared in game and helped clinch the district title.
