SoCon Pitcher of the Week (March 16)... Saw action in a team-best 37 games in the circle with 23 starts to lead the WCU pitching staff... led the team with 16 victories during the program's most wins since 2016 and the second-most in school history, which placed her in second place in the SoCon with her 16 wins... finished third in the league with 164 strikeouts to pair with a league-best 17 complete games over 180.1 innings to pace the Southern Conference... her innings pitched ranked 26th in the NCAA... 2025 (Freshman): Appeared in 25 games in the circle with 17 of those coming as starts in her debut season for the Catamounts… Tallied a team-high 10 victories, which ranked in a tie for seventh in the SoCon… totaled 100 strikeouts as she was one of five players in league to tally 100+ strikeouts… paired with senior Tessa Juett’s 129 strikeouts, she was apart of the first pitching duo in Catamount history to eclipse 100 strikeouts in a season since 2016 (Taylor Sigmon – 202 & Courtney Buchanan – 126)… finished tied for fifth in the conference with 6.0 strikeouts per seven innings… tied the team lead with 11 complete games which tied for fourth in the SoCon with teammate Tessa Juett… finished fourth in the league with 33 strikeouts looking… tossed a two-hit shutout with a season-high 13 strikeouts in Catamount Classic finale against N.C. HIGH SCHOOL: Fulton heads to WCU after a successful four-year prep career at River Ridge High School. During her four years she finished with 56-23 Record totaling 677 strikeouts and a 1.50 ERA over 539+ innings of work. She earned first team all-region honors during her sophomore and junior years while also garnering all-county honors in those same two seasons at River Ridge. Following an 18-6 record in her sophomore campaign, Fulton was named Region 7-6A Pitcher of the Year and Cherokee County Pitcher of the Year. Fulton closed out her prep career with a the same honors as sophomore and junior years while also receiving first team all-state honors. During her time at River Ridge, she was apart of four teams that totaled 20+ wins per season including a region title during her senior season. River Ridge advanced to the final four during her junior campaign and finished in third place during her senior year, also garnered a state runner up during sophomore season. She broke numerous records at River Ridge setting the single-game program record for strikeouts (21), single-season program strikeout record (264) during her senior season and the program’s career strikeout mark (677). Fulton spent part of her high school career as teammate to current catamount and reigning Co-SoCon Freshman of the Year Lily Bell.
