2026 (Junior): SoCon Second-Team All-Conference selection... Saw action in 45 games with 38 appearences being starts for the Purple & Gold... she made 22 starts in right field, 12 as the designated player, three in center field and one start in left field... finished with a career-best .336 batting average, tallying 38 hits which included four doubles, one triple and a career-best 11 homers... one of four Catamounts to hit 10+ home runs... added 31 RBIs, scored 27 runs... drew 14 walks, while reaching base safely three times on a hit-by-pitch... recorded four sacrifices (two SAC, two SF)... finished tied for fourth on the team with seven stolen bases... totaled 10 multi-hit games with a career-best three hit game against Gardner-Webb (Feb. 24) and Chattanooga (April 18)... tallied a two-homer game with career-best six RBIs in run-rule win over the Mocs... added four RBIs in a nonconference win over USC Upstate (March 24)... three multi-RBI games in league action... tallied a .346 batting average (18-of-52) with two doubles, one triple and seven homers in league play... finished third on the team in SoCon play with a .346 clip... finished the regular season on a 15-game reached base streak, second-best for WCU throughout the 2026 season... part of an offense that broke single-season team records in batting average (.313), slugging percentage (.505), on-base percentage (.385), hits (504), doubles (73), runs (368), runs batted in (337), total bases (812), steals (79), and sacrifice flies (24)...
2025 (Sophomore): Appeared in 41 games with 35 of those appearances being starts in left field for the Catamounts… tallied 25 hits including four doubles, one triple, and a pair of homers… hit homers in SoCon play against ETSU (March 22) and Wofford (April 12)…  totaled five multi-hit games with those coming against Presbyterian (March 1), Rhode Island (March 1), Norfolk State (March 8), Tulsa (March 19), and ETSU (March 22)… had a two double game against Presbyterian… had two games with multiple RBIs… had a steal in conference showdown with Mercer (April 18)… tallied a season-long five-game hit streak and reached base streak…CSC All-District Team Selection… 2025 Spring Academic All-SoCon… 2024-25 SoCon Academic Honor Roll...
2024 (Freshman): Played in 48 games while earning 39 starts including 36 of those starts coming in right field… totaled 18 hits including two doubles and six homers… tallied 16 runs scored and 17 RBI… recorded homers in all three home SoCon games against UNCG including a grand slam in run-rule victory on April 20… hit a game-ending homer in run-rule victory over Georgia State on March 13… hit four of six homers in SoCon play… had a pair of multi-hit games including a three-hit showing against Mercer in conference tournament… had four games with multiple RBI including her four RBI in win over UNCG… had a double in pair of SoCon games against Samford on April 27 and in SoCon tournament against Mercer on May 9… posted a .985 fielding percentage… 2023-24 SoCon Academic Honor Roll...Â
HIGH SCHOOL: Wonsick arrives in Cullowhee after playing at Ashe County High School. As a senior, she hit .559 with 38 hits, 10 doubles, one triple, four home runs, and 31 RBI as she earned All-State, All-District, All-Conference, and HighSchoolOT.com second team All-State honors which followed an injury-shortened junior season. She earned All-Northwestern Conference honors as a sophomore after batting .385 with 15 hits, four doubles, three triples, one home run, and 13 RBI along with six stolen bases. For her career, Wonsick finished with a .503 average with 65 hits, 16 doubles, four triples, 19 stolen bases, seven home runs, 54 RBI, and 51 runs scored in 42 games played. A two-sport athlete, Wonsick also lettered in basketball.
