2026 (Freshman): All-Freshman Team Honoree... Appeared in 39 games with 27 starts which included 16 starts at shortstop and 11 starts in the circle... she began her WCU career, posting a 7-6 mark to help lead the WCU pitching staff to the second-most wins in school history with 34 wins... Bunsic tallied her best mark in league play in the circle, going 5-3 with a 3.75 ERA to go along with four complete games... earned her first career victory with 6.2 innings of work in nonconference play against USC Upstate (March 24)... pitched her first ever complete game with three strikeouts and two earned runs at East Tennessee State (April 3)... earned wins in three straight appearances against Chattanooga (April 18), N.C. Central (April 21), and Mercer... she posted her best performance in league play during a SoCon matchup against Mercer (April 24), tossing a four-hit shutout during a 3-0 shutout win over the Bears late in the 2026 regular season... she closed her regular season with six wins and a 3.45 ERA... finished in a tie for for fifth in school history for freshman pitchers with seven wins... was one of three Catamounts to garner freshman team honors, the most for WCU since 2024... in limited at-bats, Bunsic picked up three hits, three runs including a double and seven RBIs... had her first career double in nonconference play against Robert Morris (March 6)... recorded three sacrifice flies throughout 2026 season... 

HIGH SCHOOL: Bunsic arrives in Cullowhee after completing a successful prep career at Morristown Hamblen West High. The two-way standout finished her high school tenure with a .453 batting average from the leadoff spot, legging out seven triples and stealing 18 bases. She also dominated in the circle with 12 wins and 184 strikeouts. During her high school career, she totaled a school record 816 strikeouts and set the school high mark for wins. Bunsic earned Player of the Year accolades all four years and was thrice named Pitcher of the Year. She also collected the Lakeway Player of the Year multiple times in her prep career. Bunsic was a part of four conference championships and three district tournament titles. She set a freshman record in the circle, tallying 206 strikeouts.
