Was the Western Carolina softball pitching coach for the shortened 2020 season before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Under her tutelage freshman pitcher Savannah Rice tossed a 2-0 shutout at Clemson, in the Tigers' inaugural home game as a program, on national television - ACC Network. Rice went on to earn Southern Conference Pitcher of the Week.

2019 (Senior): Saw time in the pitching circle as well as in the infield and outfield … In the circle, made 29 appearances and started 20 with a record of 9-17 … Tossed seven complete games with one shutout … She tossed 128.2 innings with a 4.41 ERA … Gave up 162 hits, allowing 98 runs, 81 hits, walked 64 and struck out 65 … At the plate, had a .203 batting average with 28 hits, 18 runs scored, three doubles, a team-leading eight home runs, and 23 RBI.
2018 (Junior): Started and played in 47 games … Also made five appearances, and four starts on the mound before sidelined by an injury to halt her pitching … At the plate, ranked second on the team with a .284 batting average … Her 25 RBI tied for second-most on the team and her six homeruns was a season-high … She also had eight doubles on the season … On the mound, tossed 18.2 innings with 11 strikeouts … Her first appearance in the 2018 season, on the mound, was a 1-0 complete game shutout over Western Illinois.
2017 (Sophomore): Played in 32 games and started 29 ... Also made 19 appearances in the pitching circle and started 12 ... Reed made appearances at first base, second base and also pitched during the season ... At the plate, she had a .217 batting average with 15 hits, two doubles, a triple, two homeruns, eight RBI and 13 runs scored ... She hit the first triple of her career against Samford ... In the pitching circle, Reed had a 5.08 ERA tossing 60.2 innings and striking out 38.
