Struck out 48 over 32.1 innings as a sophomore and a program-record 95 strikeouts over 43.2 innings as a junior to earn conference Pitcher of the Year honors ... Tossed 16.1 innings with 43 strikeouts with an 0.86 ERA before an injury prevented him from pitching the remainder of his senior season -- but offensively, broke the career home run (20) and RBI (89) records, batting a career-best .483 with 42 hits as a senior.
