2026 (Freshman): Saw action in four games serving primarily as a pinch-hitter for the Catamounts... made her collegiate debut with an RBI single during a 16-2 run-rule win over N.C. A&T (Feb. 11)... drew a bases-loaded walk and scored on an Amari Burce grand slam during WCU's record-setting 21-0 victory over Gardner-Webb (April 14)... picked up a base knock in a pinch-hit opportunity during WCU's 16-run fifth inning that led to a 20-1 win over N.C. Central (April 21)... part of an offense that broke single-season team records in batting average (.313), slugging percentage (.505), on-base percentage (.385), hits (504), doubles (73), runs (368), runs batted in (337), total bases (812), steals (79), and sacrifice flies (24)... 

HIGH SCHOOL: Shambley finished her prep career with a .427 batting average that included batting .449 as a junior and carrying a .452 batting average in her senior campaign. In her 89 career games, she recorded 112 hits and 105 RBI, and hit 16 home runs. Shambley closed her career receiving honorable mention All-state recognition, joined by fellow freshman Kayden Lyda, Emily Murphy, and Sydnee Bumgarner in North Carolina, who were each mentioned throughout the list of honorees.

Shambley's high school career saw her post a 1.303 on-base percentage plus slugging percentage. She was a two-time all-conference honoree, in addition to being named an all-district and all-state recipient as a junior. Beginning in her sophomore season, Shambley was a three-time captain for Cedar Ridge High. Off the diamond, she was the overall top female at Cedar Ridge for weightlifting with a 325 lbs. deadlift, along with a 280 lbs. squat.
