2020-21 (Redshirt Senior): 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District III First Team ... Played all 24 games and started 20 … Ended her career with 171 made three-pointers ranking fourth in the WCU record books … She also closes the book with 834 career points … In her final campaign, LaPlant averaged 7.8 points per game and led the team with 40 three-pointers on the season … She scored in double figures six times and ends her career having scored in double figures a total of 36 times … She also scored 20 or more points twice on the season ... 2020-21 SoCon All-Academic ... 2020-21 SoCon Honor Roll ...  2020-21 SoCon Commissioners Medal. 

2019-20 (Redshirt Junior): Named SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week (Dec. 12) … Broke the program record for most three-pointers in a season ending with 80 which ranked second in the SoCon and 33rd in the nation ... Played and started in all 30 games … Ranked second on the team averaging a season-best 12 points per game ranking her 13th in the SoCon … Almost doubled her scoring output from her sophomore season with as a redshirt junior … Scored in double figures 21 times on the season including closing out the year scoring in double figures in the final nine games on the year … Connected on a career-best five three-pointers Jan. 23, 2020 at Wofford … Shot a season-best 39.6 percent from the field and 35 percent from behind the three-point arch … Played the full 40 minutes in five games ... 2020 Spring SoCon All-Academic ... 2019-20 SoCon Honor Roll ...  2019-20 SoCon Commissioners Medal.

High School: Ended her career at Southwestern Randolph High School scoring 1,940 points averaging 18.1 points per game ... In her senior season, she averaged 23.8 points, 1.7 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game, while posting six 30 plus performances, earning a spot on the All-Conference and All-District Team ... Was also named District 8 Player of the Year and All-County Player of the Year. In her junior year, she helped pace her team to a 25-2 record winning the conference championship and reaching the third round of the state playoffs.
