Debbie Hensley was the inaugural head coach of the Western Carolina women's soccer team helping launch the program in 1999. She spent six seasons with the Catamounts leading the team to a 2001 Southern Conference regular season title and was alo named SoCon Coach of the Year in that season. In 2004 she also took on the duty of Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Women's Administrator.Â
Hensley left the Catamount soccer program after the 2004 season to become and assistant coach at LSU.Â
