2025 (Freshman): Played in 50 games during her debut season with the Catamounts totaling 49 starts which included 39 of those coming in centerfield and seven in left field… batting .279 with 22 runs scored, 39 hits and nine RBI… added two doubles to her stat line… also tallied 18 walks… finished second on the team with 13 stolen bases… recorded a team-best nine sacrifice bunts, which ranks fifth in the single-season record book for Western Carolina… Marks had the most sacrifice bunts in a season by a Catamount since 2019 when Lindsay Perillo had 10… had eight multi-hit games including a trio of three-hit games coming against Presbyterian (March 1 & 4) along with Gardner-Webb (March 18)… had two doubles coming in separate matchups against Gardner-Webb (February 18 & March 18)… tallied 13 hits in league play… had four games with two runs scored… logged a .989 fielding percentage… tallied a .976 fielding percentage in league action…2024-25 SoCon Commissioner's Medal... 2024-25 SoCon Academic Honor Roll...Â
HIGH SCHOOL: Marks concluded a successful high school career at Wesley Chapel High School finishing with a .453 career average during her time with Wesley Chapel. She totaled 135 hits including a career-high 43 during her junior season and scored 120 runs driving in 35 career RBIs. Marks finished her prep career with a .518 career on-base percentage and a 1.008 on-base percentage plus slugging percentage while also swiping 35 bases in her time at Wesley Chapel. She finished her time at Wesley Chapel with a .978 fielding percentage with seven outfield assists and helped turn three double plays. She garnered second team all-conference honors as a sophomore and first team honors both her junior and senior year with her junior campaign ending with the league’s player of the year honor. Marks broke numerous records during her prep career including runs scored in a season as a junior with 33, hits in a season also as a junior with 43 and singles in that same season with 37. She closed out her career on a 68-game reached base streak. She was a part of two district titles and two more district runner ups for Wesley Chapel High School.
