2015: Named Southern Conference Player of the Week (Oct. 27) … Played in eight games and started seven … Started the final six games of the season … Earned a shutout against SoCon regular season winner Samford as WCU earned a 1-0 win … Played 613.36 minutes allowing five goals in eight games … Had a total of 32 saves ending the year with a record of 3-2-1.
After a brief return to the team at the end of 2013 sat out the 2014 season. Will return for her senior season in 2015. . 2011: Saw action in goal in two matches ... Played 39:29 minutes total ... Had one save.
High School: Was the starting goalkeeper for Wachusett Regional High School since her freshmen year and has recorded a total of 46 shutouts in her time there ... Set the record for most games played by a goalkeeper and most shutouts recorded ... Made the Mid-Watch All Star team her junior and senior year, and made the All State and T&G Super Team her senior year as well as team captain and MVP. ... Helped lead her Super Y team to Nationals two years in a row (2007 & 2008) ... In 2007 they were quarter finalists and runners-up in 2008 ... In both 2007 and 2009, she attended Super Y League National Camp ... Served as a sports ambassador and freshmen mentor for her high school in 2010-2011.
Personal: Daughter of Robert and Christine Martin and she has a 19 year old sister named Ashley ... When she is not playing soccer, she enjoys fishing ... Plans on pursuing a degree in Emergency Management here at Western Carolina.
