2024-25 (Redshirt Junior): Saw action in 28 games with four starts with starts against Truett McConnell (Nov. 13), Milligan (Dec. 19), The Citadel (Jan. 25) & Chattanooga (Jan. 29)… Scored 113 points, averaging 4.0 points per game… eclipsed double-figures two times including a career-high 13 in Catamount debut against Bob Jones (Nov. 4) where he went 6-of-6 from the floor… was efficient from the field shooting 50.5% (46-of-91) for second-best on the team… one of five players to pull down 100+ rebounds with 106, averaging 3.8 boards per game… had 17 games with at least four rebounds including a season-high nine against Truett-McConnell and eight apiece against Bob Jones and Samford… shot 72.4% (21-of-29) at the free-throw line… dished out 22 assists… added 11 steals and four blocks… played a season-high 26 minutes against The Citadel (Jan. 25)…

PRIOR TO WCU: McKey joins the Catamounts after spending the past three seasons at Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va. He saw action in 23 games over his time with the Thundering Herd including 18 games in his freshman season. McKey's best offensive showing was a nine-point performance during his debut season with Marshall and he also had a pair of five-rebound efforts coming against Milligan and FIU. Ahead of his time at Marshall, McKey prepped at John's Creek High and The Skill Factory (TSF) in central Georgia, winning a prep national championship at TSF. He was a first-team all-region selection for the program averaging 13 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in high school. He went on to average a double-double with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists during his prep season. McKey's father, Derrick, spent 15 years in the NBA spending time with the Indiana Pacers, Seattle SuperSonics, and the Philadelphia 76ers as an all-rookie selection and a two-time all-defensive team honoree.
