Adrian Ell-Stroop joined the Western Carolina University Athletics staff as an Athletic Academic Advisor in 2024 after serving as the Head of Academics in Cincinnati for Total Package Hockey Academy during the 2023-24 year.
At WCU, Ell-Stroop works primarily with football and women’s tennis programs.
During her collegiate career she totaled five years on the volleyball court playing for both Florida State and West Virginia tallying 1,278 career assists between her two stops. She appeared in 118 matches spanning 417 sets with 680 kills for the Seminoles and Mountaineers.
During her final year in Morgantown she earned All-Big 12 First Team honors along with CoSIDA Academic All-District and was an AVCA All-Midwest Region recipient.
Following her collegiate career she also played professionally in Peru and was apart of a winning Peruvian National League and finished fourth in a South American Tournament.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Ell-Stroop earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management from Florida State while completing her masters at West Virginia. Ell-Stroop is married to her husband, AJ, who’s a graduate assistant for Western Carolina men’s basketball.
