Andrew Green joined the Catamount women's soccer coaching staff in August 2015. Green holds an NSCAA National Diploma and a Meuelensteen Academy Certification Level one.
Before coming to WCU, Green spent two years at Olivet High School in Michigan. He spen his first season as the boys’ and girls’ assistant coach and then as the boy’s varsity head coach.
In 2014, he led Olivet to district semi-finals a school record finish being named the runner- up district coach of the year. During his time at Olivet, he coached 11 all district and 12 all conference players.
A native of South Florida, Green began his coaching career at his alma mater, Cardinal Gibbons High School. From 2009-2011, he was the boys JV Head coach and Varsity assistant coach. During his time at Gibbons they placed 18 players on the all county selections.
Green graduated from Olivet College in 2014 with a bachelors in social science and was a two-year letterwinner in soccer ranking as high as sixth in the nation in 2012. In his two years, Olivet went to back-to-back MIAA Conference Championships.
"We are delighted to have Andrew join our staff here at WCU this year," said Head Coach Chad Miller. "He is a young coach with great energy and enthusiasm for the game. Andrew will work with our goalkeepers and also assist with recruiting efforts."
