Cale Matthews begins his time a part of the Catamount football coaching staff in 2025 working as a quality control coach as he will spend time with the wide receivers. He comes to Cullowhee after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Greensboro College working mainly with the wide receivers and special teams unit. He also served as the Pride’s Director of Football Ops. He also spent time evaluating receivers for numerous North Carolina schools throughout the past two years. He graduated from Greensboro College with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise & Sports Studies with a minor in Business Administration/Coaching in 2022.
