Madelyn Lee joined the Catamount football support staff as the Director of Recruiting on August 26, 2025. Lee, a 2024 graduate of WCU, returns to Catamount Country after spending four years in various roles with the Catamounts in both Football Operations and Recruiting.
Lee spent the last year working with the football coaching staff at East Carolina University, serving as the graduate assistant for on-campus recruiting. In that role, Lee worked closely with the Director of Recruiting and On-Campus Recruiting to ensure all official visits were handled effectively. She was also involved in the unofficial and official game-day visits.
Prior to her stint in Greenville, she spent almost four years in multiple roles with the Catamounts working with both Football Operations and Recruiting. In her various roles with WCU, she assisted in coordination of hotel and food & beverage contracts for road trips on away games as well as assisting in post-game meals for home games and ensured that recruiting events run smoothly, hosting recruits and their families during their time on campus, as well as giving recruits and families tours of the campus and the facilities, as well as assisting with transcript evaluations.
Lee is a 2024 graduate of Western Carolina with a bachelor's degree in marketing and sport management and is expected to earn her master's degree in sport management in December 2025.
