Western Carolina University

Nicole Bohannon came to Western Carolina University in February 2018 from Pfeiffer University.

She currently works with women's soccer and women's tennis but also did a brief stint with baseball. Included in her work with the athletic teams, Bohannon is also the camp coordinator for medical coverage. 

Prior to Western Carolina, she spent three years with Pfeiffer University as the assistant athletic trainer. Sports she handled included women's soccer, men's basketball, women's basketball, women's lacrosse, softball, tennis, cross country and track. She worked closely with the team's orthopedic staff, school psychologist and NCAA insurance representative. She was responsible for conducting initial phone interviews during ATC hirings and hiring and supervising work-study and practicum students. She also assisted in hosting the first and second round of the 2015 NCAA DII Men's Soccer Tournament. 

Before arriving at Pfeiffer, Bohannon was an athletic training intern at Auburn University. She helped host the NCAA regional gymnastic meeting including organization and set-up. She also assisted with year-end physicals and athlete termination papers. 

Bohannon graduated from the University of Findlay working as an athletic training student while pursuing her degree.
