Roman Uglehus joined Catamount Athletics as the Assistant Director of Video Operations in April 2024, moving from UNC Asheville where he served as a broadcast assistant for two years.

His experience also includes working as a content manager for Lead Prosper, a software company based out of Buncombe County, N.C. He also worked a summer internship with the Asheville City Soccer Club.

While an undergraduate at UNC Asheville, Uglehus was employed by UNCA Athletics working as a student assistant with Bulldog Athletics multimedia. He also worked with UNC Asheville’s student newspaper, The Blue Banner, as both the Assistant Sports Editor and the Sports Editor

Uglehus graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication and media studies from UNC Asheville with a minor in Spanish in May 2021.
