Travis Chandler came to Cullowhee from the University of Charleston in Charleston, W.Va., where he had direct oversight of compliance operations. He was hired as Assistant to the Athletic Director for Compliance in 2013 and was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director in 2015.

Before joining University of Charleston Athletics, Chandler served as Assistant Director of Admissions for University of Charleston from 2011 to 2013. While in that role he acted as admissions liaison with Golden Eagle Athletics.

Prior to coming to Charleston, Chandler worked in non-profit fundraising, programming and outreach with the YMCA of Kanawha Valley, American Cancer Society, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

A native of South Charleston, W.Va., Chandler earned his bachelor's degree from Salem-Teikyo University in 2000 while also playing soccer and tennis for the Tigers. Chandler received his M.S. in Athletic Administration from Marshall University in 2003 while serving as a graduate assistant in the Thundering Herd office of compliance.
