Charleston, S.C. - Western Carolina's Christy Attebery recorded 13 kills to make her way to the WCU record for career kills in a 3-0 victory over The Citadel Saturday night.

Attebery tallied only three errors on 24 attempt for a hitting percentage of .417. She added six digs and two blocks to her totals. Also recording double figures was freshman Sara Komosinski who put down 10 kills with one error on 18 attempts. She led the team with a .500 hitting percentage on the night.

WCU put away game one 15-5 and did not let down for the ramaining two games. They finished off The Citadel 15-5 in game two and 15-1 in game three.

The Citadel was led by Lindsey Hodge, Adrienne Watson and Nicole Mantu with five kills each. The Bulldogs were led defensively by Watson with six digs.
