Volleyball Finishes The Season On A High Note

Charleston, SC - Christy Attebery recorded 23 kills, followed by Sara Komosinski's 20 as Western Carolina defeated College of Charleston 3-1 (10-15, 15-11, 15-8, 15-9) in Southern Conference volleyball action Sunday at the John Kresse Arena.

With the win, the Catamounts move to 19-13 overall and 14-6 in SoCon play. The Cougars fall to 14-15 overall and 8-12 in conference action.

Attebery, Komosinski and Pamela Stein all recorded double figures in kills. Five Catamount recorded double figures in digs, Attebery (24), Ashley Minton (14), Bri Milan-Williams (12), Komosinski (11) and Cindy Camp (11).

Heather Bingham led CofC with 22 kills, followed closely by Aly VanCleave, who recorded 21. VanCleave led the defense with 21 digs and three other Charleston players also recorded double figures in digs.
