Tembre Moates recorded the first double-double of her career with 18 points and 11 rebounds in Western Carolina's 83-56 loss at Duke Sunday in Cameron Indoor.

- Moates paced three Catamounts in double figures with her double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds.
- Redshirt junior Kyla Allison scored a season-best 14 points while redshirt senior Lauren LaPlant had 11.
- Duke's Sara Anastasieska led the Blue Devils with 23 points hitting five three-pointers.

- Moates' 18 points in the game are just one point shy of tying her career-high. Her 11 rebounds are a career-high and the second time in her career she has pulled down double-digit rebounds.
- Allison's 14 points is a season-high and mark the second-straight game she has scored in double figures. She also had a season-high six rebounds.
- Four of Western Carolina's next five games are on the road with a home-opener scheduled for Dec. 5.
- Head Coach Kiley Hill is one game shy of his 300th career win.
- LaPlant's three-pointer in the game pushes her career total to 134 maintaining her spot of sixth place in the WCU record books. She needs 12 three-pointers to move into fifth place.

Western Carolina will have six days off before hosting Elon at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 in the Ramsey Center.
In accordance with executive orders from North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, only student-athlete families will be able to attend basketball games in the Ramsey Center for the start of the 2020-21 season. Families of student-athletes will adhere to public health guidance when attending games, including but not limited to mask-wearing, maintaining a social distance between different parties, and observance of North Carolina's executive orders as well as WCU's Catamounts Cares community standards.
Season tickets will not be offered and single game tickets are currently not available. Should North Carolina executive orders change in regards to indoor attendance capacities during the season, the current directives could be adjusted.
