Game Two – Western Carolina 4, Towson 3
Western Carolina rallied back from a three-run deficit to win the nightcap of Saturday's twin bill 4-3 with
Luke Robinson factoring on both the game-tying and winning runs. The senior from McLeansville, N.C., opened the home half of the eighth inning with a single up the middle before eventually coming home on a RBI groundout by
Daylan Nanny to send the teams to the ninth inning tied at three.
In the ninth,
Seth Graves drew a lead-off walk and stole second to move into scoring position where Robinson doubled to right-center field to plate the game-winning run. Robinson (2-for-5) and
Daniel Walsh (2-for-3), who also laid down a sacrifice bunt in the eighth to set-up the game-tying run, both collected two hits apiece to lead the Catamounts while Nanny finished with two RBI.
