CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina concludes a five-match homestand this weekend as the Catamounts welcome ETSU to the Ramsey Regional Activity Center for a pair of matches. The Catamounts and Bucs battle at 3 p.m. Sunday and 5 p.m. Monday.

WCU is 3-6 overall and 3-4 in the Southern Conference following a 3-2 home setback against Wofford on Wednesday. Junior
Merry Gebel led three Catamounts in double-figure kills with 20 in her seventh double-double effort of the season, adding 17 digs. Sophomore
Johnna Robinson had a career-best five total blocks.
ETSU is 4-2 both in league matches and overall after being swept last weekend at Wofford. The Bucs suffered a 3-1 defeat on Sunday and a 3-0 setback Monday.
The teams have met 84 previous times with WCU holding a 43-41 advantage. In recent years, ETSU has won five straight and eight of the last 10 matchups.
The Catamounts head to Furman next weekend, battling the Paladins on Sunday at 5 p.m. and Monday at 6 p.m.
