Madison Isaacson paced the Catamount scoring five in both rounds of the 2021 Southern Conference Women's Golf Championship on Monday carding a 5-over par 149 to sit in a two-way tie for 13th place with 18 holes to play. Sixth after the opening round, the Catamounts slid two spots into eight-place after 36 holes at the par-72, 6,006-yard Oak Point Golf Course.
Isaacson was tied for eighth after the opening round, sliding five spots in the individual standings despite knocking a stroke off her opening round 3-over par 75 with a two-over 74 on the second 18 holes. A native of Greensboro, N.C., Isaacson posted a pair of birdies on her opening 18 holes opening on the back nine on Monday to make the turn at 1-under par. She finished her first round with four bogeys and a 75. In the second round, Isaacson countered a trio of bogeys with a birdie on the par-3 ninth to shoot. 74.

Victoria Ladd who posted rounds of 77 and 76 to sit tied with three others for 23rd in the individual standings at 153. The second-year striker carded four birdies on Monday, two in both rounds. Senior
Maya White is tied for 38th after 36 holes, posting rounds of 79 and 82 for a total of 161. White tallied a pair of birdies on the day.
Rounding out WCU's scoring five are seniors
Cameron Wood in 43rd (170) and
Hazel Martin, who shot 79 in the first round before being forced to withdraw from the second round. Martin, who had three birdies in the opening 18 holes, is 45th overall in the standings.
WCU recorded 14 birdies collectively as a team and ranked fourth in the tournament in par-3 scoring at 6-over par (3.13).
ETSU leads the nine-team field by three strokes over second-place Samford, 584-to-587, after two rounds. Furman sits in third, four strokes off the pace at 588 followed by Mercer (589) and Chattanooga (600) to round out the top five. UNCG (612) is sixth followed by Wofford (618), WCU (624), and The Citadel (639) rounding out the field.
Furman's Sarah-Eve Rheaume paces the field atop the individual leaderboard with a two-round score of 6-under 138. Bailey Dunstan of Samford is second after carding an even-par 144 on Monday.
The final round is scheduled for tee times off the first and 10th holes beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
