Victoria Ladd leads the Catamounts in a tie for 23rd overall with a two-round score of 7-over par 146.
Ladd posted rounds of 5-over par 77 and 2-over par 74 on Saturday, carding four birdies including three in the second 18 holes. The Greensboro, N.C., native advanced four spots in the second round.
Senior
Maya White is tied for 42nd with a score of 161, two strokes ahead of classmate
Hazel Martin in a tie for 44th. White had a trio of birdies in the first round while Martin had two birdies on the second 18 holes. Rounding out WCU's scoring five are junior
Madison Isaacson in a tie for 46th at 165 and senior
Cameron Wood in 52nd overall at 170.
Playing unattached as an individual, senior
Harper Gilreath shot 165 in two rounds on Saturday, tied for 46th overall.
Coastal Carolina leads the nine-team field with a two-round score of 590, four strokes ahead of second-place Augusta at 594. Tournament-host East Carolina is third at 596 with Campbell (597) and College of Charleston (599) rounding out the top five.
High Point's Samantha Vodry leads the 54-golfer field by a stroke over Tiffany Arafi of Coastal Carolina, 141-to-142.
