GREENSBORO, N.C. – Western Carolina long jumpers Makaila McIntyre and Shon Pratcher finished in second and third place, respectively, as they both competed at the Aggie Twilight on Sunday on the campus of North Carolina A&T.

McIntyre was the runner-up in the women's long jump with a season-best leap of 5.89 meters (19'4").

In the men's long jump, Pratcher placed third with his mark of 7.01 meters (23'0").

Selections for the NCAA East Preliminaries will be announced on May 20 with the meet taking place in Jacksonville, Fla. The top 48 declared individuals along with the top 24 relay teams will be selected.
