Cullowhee, N.C. – Three Western Carolina basketball games including two men's Southern Conference games and the final women's basketball nonconference contest of the regular season that were each postponed due to COVID issues have been rescheduled, Catamount Athletics in conjunction with the Southern Conference office announced this evening.
Western Carolina men's basketball now travels to Johnson City, Tenn., to face ETSU on Monday, Jan. 10 with the home match-up against UNCG moved to Monday, Feb. 7, breaking up a scheduled three-game road swing. The Catamount women play host to Southern Wesleyan now on Monday, Jan. 17 with a 7:00 p.m. tip-off on Ingles Court at the Ramsey Center with
FREE admission.
Please note that tickets purchased for the originally scheduled men's basketball dates will be valid for the rescheduled games.
WCU opens its respective Southern Conference schedules this week as
the Catamount men host The Citadel on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., while the Catamount women travel to Wofford on Thursday with a 6:00 p.m., tip-off in Spartanburg, S.C.
