CULLOWHEE, N.C. – The Western Carolina men's basketball team remains on the road Saturday, traveling to Charleston, S.C., for a 1 p.m. matinee against The Citadel inside McAlister Field House.
Saturday's game will be streamed on ESPN+ (paid subscription required) with Catamount Sports Network coverage beginning at 12:30 p.m. Free live stats are also available via a link on CatamountSports.com.
The Catamounts are 10-8 overall and 3-2 in Southern Conference games following a 96-75 road setback at Chattanooga on Wednesday.
Vonterius Woolbright led four players in double figures with a career-high 24 points. Woolbright also snagged a team-best nine rebounds.

Tre Jackson (14), and
Russell Jones Jr. (10) also finished in double figures.
The Citadel enters Saturday's game with a 6-11 season record and a 1-4 mark in league games after a 96-74 home loss to ETSU on Wednesday. Stephen Clark paced the Bulldogs with a career-best 27 points and swatted five blocks. Clark leads the team with 15.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Austin Ash is also averaging double figures with 15.6 points per game. Clark and Ash rank third and fifth respectively in the SoCon in points per game with Clark's 1.8 blocks per game putting him in second place.
WCU leads the all-time series 45-39 after the teams split the season series in 2021-22. The Catamounts earned a thrilling 94-90 overtime win in Cullowhee on Jan. 5 before the Bulldogs claimed a 68-66 victory to protect their home court on Jan. 26.
The Catamounts return to the friendly confines of Ingles Court in the Ramsey Center on Wednesday for a "Blackout Game" where WCU will wear its alternate black uniforms. Fans are encouraged to wear their black WCU gear to the game with the first 400 students receiving a free Blackout game T-shirt. At halftime, the ever-popular Zooperstars will perform.
