CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Junior Joi Reid notched a double-double, 10 points and 11 rebounds, in Western Carolina women's basketball's 60-46 loss to Furman Saturday on Ingles Court in the Ramsey Center.

Turning Point
Western Carolina, who was down 15-13 after the first quarter, was outscored 16-2 in the second quarter by Furman and could never recover that second 10-minute deficit of the game.

Individual Leaders

Allison led the game with 13 points to go along with six rebounds and two assists.
Reid recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Jaelyn Acker led four Furman players in double figures with 12 points.

Inside the Box Score

Western Carolina was 1-for-12 from the field in the second quarter.
The Paladins shot a scorching 54.5 percent (6-of-11) in the second quarter helping Furman outscore WCU 16-2.
