GREENVILLE, S.C. – Four Catamounts scored in double figures in Western Carolina women's basketball's 66-53 road loss at Furman Thursday in Timmons Arena.

Turning Point:
The Catamounts held a 31-28 lead at halftime, but Furman found its groove in the second half thanks to a 9-0 run to build a 42-35 lead and would never trail again. In the third quarter, the Paladins outscored WCU 24-13.

Individual Leaders

Junior Joi Reid ripped down a career-best 14 rebounds.
Kyla Allison led the Catamounts with 13 points.
Zanoria Cruz had 11 points hitting the only three-pointer of the game for WCU.
Mya Love and Endia Holliday each scored 10 points for the Catamounts.
Jaelyn Acker led Furman with 19 points.

Inside the Box Score

Furman used the long ball to keep itself in the game early, hitting four first-half treys, and ended the contest hitting eight three-pointers.
Western Carolina hit just one three-pointer in the game coming at the close of the second quarter. The Catamounts were 1-of-10 from the three-point line in the game.
Furman got 28 points from the free throw line going 28-of-44 from the charity stripe.
Western Carolina was awarded just 21 trips to the free throw line hitting 12.
