Catamounts Home Opener Pushed to Sunday Night

CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Due to impact from Hurricane Helene in the Cullowhee area, Friday's SoCon Volleyball home opener between Mercer and Western Carolina scheduled for 12:30 from Ingles Court at the Ramsey Center has been postponed.

The two schools will move Friday's match to Sunday at 6 p.m. from the Ramsey Center. The previously scheduled faculty/staff day, originally slated for Friday, will be moved to a later date that will be announced in the future. 

The Catamounts (7-7, 1-0 SoCon) look to continue their strong volleyball run, which has included winning six of their last seven matches and a five-set marathon win on Wednesday night over The Citadel.
