Asheboro, N.C. – Sunday's opening round of the Tot Hill Farm Invitational, hosted by the College of Charleston at the par-72, 6,023-yard Tot Hill Farm Golf Club, was suspended by darkness with teams within three holes of completing the first round. The opening 18 holes will be completed on Monday morning, followed by another 18 holes, as tournament officials have shortened the event to 36 holes by canceling the third round.
One of Western Carolina's scoring five has just two holes remaining, while the remainder have three holes to play before moving into Monday's second round.

Sophomore transfer Elsa Maren Steinarsdôttir is 6-over par through 16 holes and in a tie for 36th overall, tied with senior

EC Niebauer is 9-over par through 15 holes in 57th, with sophomore
Annalee Caveney a stroke back with three remaining in 58th, with transfer classmate
Emily Rosenschein in 69th through 15 of the 18 first-round holes.
The threat of inclement weather prompted tournament officials to shift the tournament from a Monday-Tuesday schedule to a Sunday-Monday format. Sunday's failure to complete the first 18-hole round shortened the event to two rounds.
With the opening round nearing completion, Old Dominion holds a 10-stroke lead over second-place Coastal Carolina, while the Chants are four strokes in arrears in third place at 7-over par. Wofford and East Carolina round out the Top Five heading into Monday morning.
