Four teams did not finish round two; final round is Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Farmington, Pa. – Western Carolina has a pair of juniors inside the individual Top 10 through 36 of the scheduled 54 holes, though four teams have yet to cross the finish line in the second round at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational at the par-72, 7,526-yard Mystic Rock Golf Course. The Catamounts sit in fourth place, 10 strokes off the leading pace entering Tuesday's final 18 holes.

WCU juniors Jace Butcher and Andrew Korytoski have matching scores of 4-under par 140 to sit in a tie for eighth-place in the standings as they prepare for Tuesday's final round, which gets underway with tee-times at 8 a.m. The Catamount lineup hits the course at 9:40 a.m. through 10:20 a.m. on the front nine.

Butcher overcame a bogey on his first hole of the tournament and rallied from 2-over par through seven holes of his opening round, finishing with three birdies on holes No. 16, No. 18, and the par-4 second to shoot  71. He followed that up with his third seasonal round in the 60s with a 3-under par 69, again rebounding from a 2-over par start through seven holes in a big way with an eagle on the par-5, 525-yard 16th to make the turn to the front at even-par. Butcher birdied three of his final eight holes for the 3-under round.

Korytoski countered a double-bogey on the par-4 13th with a pair of birdies to accompany 15 pars to open the day with an even-par, 72. The Cataula, Ga., product finished Monday with his second-lowest career round with a 4-under par round of 68. Korytoski carded five birdies against a bogey to advance into the eighth-place tie.

Behind WCU's pair of juniors, senior Ivan Ninkovic shook off a tournament-opening triple-bogey, countering two additional bogeys with a birdie and an eagle to shoot 2-over par 74 in round one. The Pula, Croatia, native then hung seven birdies on the scoreboard against a pair of bogeys in the second round to fire a 5-under par 67, for a two-round total of 141.

Rounding out WCU's scoring five are redshirt senior Josh Lendach in a tie for 34th and redshirt sophomore Tyler Jones, who is currently tied for 41st with 12 golfers yet to finish their second round, which could adjust the individual standings entering the final 18 holes.

Tournament host West Virginia (555) is atop the leaderboard with second-place James Madison in second, though the Dukes have as many as three holes remaining to complete the second round. Seton Hall has a team score of 561 to sit third, followed by WCU (565) and George Washington (571), rounding out the top five. JMU, Campbell (t-8th), George Mason (t-8th), and Richmond (10th) yet to finish round two.

The four teams that did not finish will start at 7:30 a.m., while the rest of round three will start at 8 a.m. Then those four teams that did not finish round two will open their final round.
