Payton Allen joined the Catamount Club staff as the Assistant Director of Development for Stewardship and Events in the summer of 2026. He came to Cullowhee after earning his professional start at Mars Hill University in advancement and alumni relations as a gifts officer for the athletics department.
 
Allen is a 2024 cum laude graduate of UNC Charlotte, where he majored in business administration and organizational management. He also earned a certificate in sports analytics. While an undergraduate, Allen worked with the 49ers football team as a data analyst.
