Samantha Wolchesky joined the Catamount Athletics Sports Medicine staff in July 2025, working primarily with the Catamount men’s basketball team.
Wolchesky is a 2022 graduate of Appalachian State with a degree in exercise science, earning her master’s in athletic training from UNC Charlotte in 2025.
During her time as a graduate student at Charlotte, Wolchesky worked with the 49ers football and baseball teams, as well as at Concord High and with Polar Tent Sports Medicine. She spent a semester working with Auburn University gymnastics from January to May of 2025 before coming to Cullowhee.
